Tawna Lichty-Reineke, Chad Reineke and Janicka Luschen

    Tawna Lichty-Reineke, 40, Chad Reineke, 43, and Tawna’s daughter, Janicka Luschen, 10 died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, as the result of an automobile accident near Yankton, S.D.
    Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 16 at  St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Osmond.  Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Osmond with Rosary at 8 p.m.  Inurnment will be in the St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Plainview.
    Tawna Raeanne Lichty, daughter of Dennis and Dorothy Belina Lichty, was born Nov. 14, 1977 at Norfolk. A graduate of Plainview High School, she earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Human Service Counseling and Community Counseling at Wayne State College. Tawna and Jeff Luschen were married June 5,1998; and they became the parents of two daughters, Tirany Traeanne and Janicka Reeanne. On Feb. 14, 2014 Tawna married Chad Reineke.   Tawna, Chad, Tirany, and Janicka made their home in Wausa.  They moved to Yankton, S.D. in 2016.  At the time of her death, Tawna was employed by the State of South Dakota as a vocational counselor.
    Tawna Lichty-Reineke is survived by her daughter, Tirany; her, father Dennis Lichty; siblings, Anthony (Tony) and Sarah Cady Lichty; Tara and Vincent Tucker; Tiffany Lichty; and Tracy and Patricia Lichty; and nieces and nephews, Treyla and Traven Tucker, Eleanor (Ellie), Miriam, and Cassandra (Cassie) Lichty; and Kaden and Jace Lichty.      
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy; grandparents, Lambert, Sr., and Agnes Belina; and Harmon, Florence, and Mary Lichty; and her uncle, Lambert (Rusty) Belina, Jr.
    Chad Reineke, son of Helen Thorell and Gary Reineke, was born in Wausa on Dec. 5, 1974. He graduated from Wausa High School.  Chad attended Wayne State College for Business Administration. On Aug. 27, 1995 Chad married Jennifer Johnson and they had two children, Chase and Taylor Reineke. At the time of his death, he was working at Kolberg Pioneer in Yankton.
    His survivors include his son and daughter, Chase Reineke and Taylor Reineke; his mother and stepfather, Helen and David Thorell; his father and stepmother, Gary and Mary Reineke; his sisters, Mary Keller and Lauren Thompson; step-sister, Jessica Schmoll; his step brother and sister-in-law, Aaron (Lisa) Thorell; stepbrother Frankie (Lauren) Reineke; step sister Jolene Reineke; and brothers-in-law, Garrett Keller and Jarrod Thompson and his grandmother, Delores Thorell.  
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Keen and Helen Reed; and grandparents Frank and Violetta Reineke; and Floyd Thorell, Jr.
    Janicka Reeanne Luschen, daughter of Tawna Lichty-Reineke and Jeff Luschen, was born Jan. 19, 2008, in Norfolk. At the time of her death, she was a fifth-grader at Beadle Elementary School in Yankton.
    Her survivors include her father and stepmother, Jeff and Bobbie Luschen; sister, Tirany Luschen; stepbrothers, Tanner Stubbert and Chase Reineke; and stepsister, Taylor Reineke; grandparents, Dennis Lichty and Karen Zach; great grandmother, Dorothy Johnson; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

   She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Lichty; grandfathers, Jim Luschen and Orin Zach; great-grandparents, Melvin Johnson, Lambert, Sr., and Agnes Belina; Harmon Lichty, Florence Lichty, and Mary Lichty; and great-uncle, Lambert (Rusty) Belina, Jr.
