Neyron Woodward

    Neyron Woodward, 90, of rural Wayne, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Wisner Care Center in Wisner.
    Services will be held Friday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Wayne. The Rev. Kyle Nelson will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne with family present. Burial with military rites will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
    Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Wayne and the Greenwood Cemetery Association.

Jerry Starks

     Jerry Starks, 67, of Sioux City, Iowa formerly of Wayne, died Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.
     Memorial  graveside services will be held Thursday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. There is no visitation.
    Memorials may be directed to the Starks family for later designation.
    Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.

JoAnn H. Redel

    JoAnn H. Redel, 71, of Omaha, died Monday, June 11, 2018.
    A gathering with the family will be held Thursday, June 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 15 at 2 p.m. at the church.
    Memorials may be made to  the church building fund.

Leon Koch

    Leon "Lee" Koch, 82, of Winside died Wednesday, June 6 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
    Services will be held Saturday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Winside High School in Winside. Visitation will be held Friday, June 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Winside with family present. Burial with military rites will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Winside.
    Memorials may be directed to the Winside Youth Wrestling Association and the Winside  Auxiliary Club.
    Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.

Mardelle M. Koepke

    Mardelle M. Koepke, 74, of Norfolk, died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Heritage of Bel Air Nursing Home in Norfolk.
    Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk with Rev. Frank Brink officiating. Burial will be at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, also at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk.

Richard N. Bahr

    Richard N. Bahr, 64, of Norfolk died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk after a four year battle with advanced prostate cancer.
    A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m, Saturday, June 2 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
    Services are under direction of Home for Funerals in Norfolk.

Jimmie Woodward

Jimmie D. Woodward, 86, of Allen, died Thursday, May 24, 2018.
Military graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Eastview Cemetery in Allen.  Following the service, lunch will be provided at the Allen Fire Hall at 11 a.m.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements.

Colton Jensen

    Colton J. Jensen, 18, of rural Hoskins, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1 at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk with Rev. Chip Winter officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday, May 31 at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk.
    Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk is in charge of the arrangements.

Michael Granquist

    Michael “Shorty” Granquist, 51 of Laurel, died Thursday, May 17, 2018.
    Services will be held Friday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Laurel, with the Rev. Dr. Dave York officiating. Burial will be at the Laurel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.  
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Laurel.
