Dennis 'Red' Flege

    Dennis “Red” Flege, 67, of Madison, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at his home, due to ALS.
    A Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10 at Christ is King Church in Norfolk. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Home for Funerals in Norfolk.    
    Memorials are suggested to the ALS Foundation.
    Arrangements are with Home for Funerals in Norfolk.
    Dennis Lee “Red” Flege was born on May 19, 1950 to Franklin and Verna Flege of Wayne. He was married to Sandra Flege in October of 1969. They had two daughters, Tina and Terri. Dennis and Debra were married in May of 2006, and spent 19 years in Madison. They enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles and spending time with the family.  Dennis recently retired from Gerhold Concrete.
     He is survived by his wife, Debra Flege; daughters, Tina (Sean) Rogers, Terri Flege and Brian Arent; a brother, Doug Flege and sister, Marlene Carpenter; a stepson, Christopher (Kathy) Hansen; stepdaughter, Melissa McKinley; grandchildren Kayla, Jordan, Ashley, Derrek, Morgan, Madelin, Anders, Kate and Kaylee.
    He was preceded in death his parents, Franklin and Verna Flege and a sister, Eileen Martinson.
    Memorials are suggested to the ALS Foundation.
