Caleb Dwinell, 19, of Winside died Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Norfolk.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Winside. The Rev. Lydia Dayton will officiate. Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Winside with family present. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the Dwinell family for later designation.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Caleb Jason Dwinell was born Sept. 16, 1998 to Jason and Wendi (Olson) Dwinell in Wayne. He attended Winside Public School where he played high school football. Caleb was a graduate of the Winside High School Class of 2017. He was a hard worker. Beginning at the age of 13, Caleb worked for numerous area farmers and was currently working for Norfolk Iron and Metal. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, and rodeos.
Survivors include his parents, Jason and Wendi Dwinell of Winside; two sisters, Laurel (Kiel) Brunken of Wayne and Gabrielle Dwinell of Winside; one niece, Averi Brunken of Wayne; fiance, Maddie Morris of Norfolk; grandparents, Vicki (Steve) Macklem of Chambers, Gary (Jean) Olson of Dakota City, and Lonnie Dwinell of Chambers; uncles, Craig Olson of Ewing and Shane Olson of Sioux City, Iowa; aunts, Bobbie Jo (Chad) Miller of Pierce and Tanya (Terry) Marcellus of Chambers; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marlene Dwinell; aunt, Melinda Melchor; and his great-grandparents.
